Trivia![]
- Mario Kart DS is the only game to not include letters before it's retro battle courses saying which game it came from.
- Mario Kart 8 is so far the only game to include Battle Courses from the main game whilst including no new ones, this change was later revised in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, possibly due to the negative reception the change received.
