The Big & Small Tire (大きい&小さいタイヤ) is an attack Item from the first two installments of the Mario Kart arcade games, Mario Kart Arcade GP and Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 . This item repeatedly morphs the tire size of the affected driver, making their vehicle slow down a bit.
This Basic Item is available to all racers as a throw forward item.

Once locked onto an opponent up ahead, the user can smash the Item button to launch this weapon. Upon impact, the wheels of the victim start to change in size, shrinking and growing (hence the name). The chaos of the Big & Small Tire slows down opponent, which obviously makes passing them quite a bit easier.
Trivia![]
- The design of the Big & Small Tire seems to be slightly resemble the Standard Wheel from Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart 8.
