Birthday Girl (known as the Royal Ribbon in Europe and Australia) is a kart appearing in the Mario Kart series.
Description[]
The Birthday Girl is a shoe decorated with fancy bows and ribbons with spots on them. This kart has a feminine design, implied by its North American name, though this kart can still be used by male or gender-indeterminate racers.
History[]
Mario Kart 7[]

Peach gliding whilst driving the Birthday Girl.
The Birthday Girl first appeared in the Nintendo 3DS title, Mario Kart 7. This kart is available from the start. It excels in acceleration and handling, but it hinders speed, weight and off-road attributes.
The Birthday Girl is tied with the Cloud 9 and Tiny Tug for having the lowest top speed. However, it is tied with the Egg 1 and Bumble V for having the highest acceleration of all kart bodies, and is tied with the Cloud 9 and Koopa Clown for having the best handling attributes.
On a side note, male or gender-indeterminate CPUs will never use the Birthday Girl. Oddly, they will use the Peach Parasol, which comes paired with this kart.
In this game, the Birthday Girl gets four different color variations are red, pink, orange, blue and purple, for Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Rosalina, and Female Miis.

After nearly 8 years of absence, the Birthday Girl returns in Mario Kart Tour. It is classified as one of the Normal karts in the game. The kart uses yellow-rimmed versions of the Roller tires from Mario Kart 7, and no longer changes color scheme, regardless of the driver. This kart will increase the duration of speed boosts after hitting Dash Panels and the points earned of hitting them.
Birthday Girl Rosalina/Mii[]

One of the many variations of the Birthday Girl Rosalina/Mii. As you can guess, this kart is simply Rosalina and Mii's color scheme of the Birthday Girl from Mario Kart 7. It is classified as a Normal kart, and was introduced in the London Tour.
Ribbon Rider[]

Another variation of the Birthday Girl is the Ribbon Rider, which is a Christmas-themed variation of the Birthday Girl, decorated with red, green and gold ribbons. This is the signature kart for Daisy (Holiday Cheer) and Mii, and was one of the spotlights for the 2019 Holiday Tour.
Birthday Girl Daisy/Mii[]

Another variation of the Birthday Girl is the Birthday Girl Daisy/Mii. And yes, you can guess, this kart is Princess Daisy and Mii's coloration of the Birthday Girl from Mario Kart 7. However, this kart comes equipped with an orange coloration of the Mushroom tires, similar in design to the Pink Mushmellow and Cheermellow's tires. This is a High-End kart introduced in the Flower Tour.
Festival Girl[]

The latest variation of the Birthday Girl is the Festival Girl. It is a High-End kart which is the signature kart for Daisy (Yukata) and Mii, introduced in the Summer Festival Tour. This kart will increase the duration for Tricks and points earned for performed.
