Black Yoshi is a black version of Yoshi. Mario Kart Arcade GP DX marks his first appearance in a Mario Kart game. He is also playable in Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Mario Kart Tour.
In Mario Kart 8, you can only play as Black Yoshi if you buy both DLCs at the same time. If both DLCs have been purchased, he will serve as a color variant and as a costume character for Yoshi. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, he is available right from the start, but still remains a color variant for Yoshi. He's a middleweight in both parts.
Characteristics[]
Yoshi is a black dinosaur-like character from the Mushroom Kingdom. He wears gray shoes with yellow bottoms. His hands, body, tail, and head are all black. His chest and mouth area are white in color, though. Along with his head having orange spikes. he also has a red shell that has a white rim on his back. Some of his powers include flying and devouring enemies with his long tongue.
