The Blooper Diver (ゲソダイバー) is a rare, unlockable kart available in the third installment of the Mario Kart Arcade series. This specialty kart faintly resembles a Blooper, a squid-like enemy in the Super Mario franchise (and also an Item in the Mario Kartseries. While lacking in Speed and Handling, the Blooper Diver gives players exceptional Acceleration.
Description[]

Designed to imitate the shape of a Blooper, the front of the kart is dully pointed, and a long windshield estends across the middle of the bumper. The sides are white with red stripes, a large, hyper drive-looking, mechanical engine separates the driver's seat from the turbo engines on the back. Circular and lined vents, as well as a few red lights, dot the top and back of the engine, and four booster engines that mimic a Blooper's tentacles. Whenever the player gets a boost, these chrome exhausts (lined with red and white) thrust back and forth. Although the front has 2 wheels, the back only has 1 large one, which makes the Blooper Diver a rare member of the 3-Wheeler Mario Kart family.
Type S[]
The Type S variant of the Blooper Diver looks much more sinister than its regular counterpart... the windshield is now much more tinted, and the body has turned black with yellow stripes (making it real good for Wiz Khalifa fans). The engine and thrusters are arguably composed of shinier chrome, and the boosters are also now lined with yellow and black rims. Contrary to the darker body, the 3 wheels are now more white then black.
Type X[]
The Type X variant of the Blooper Diver looks a bit more mechanical then it's original version. It has a light grey base with cyan stripes across the kart.
Statistics[]
It's no question that the Blooper Diver has exceptional Acceleration statistics, but the 2-star bonus in that area kinda leaves the other stat areas... weak. If you plan to get hit by a lot of Items (which no one really does), then this is a good kart.

Trivia![]
- This is the second vehicle to be based on a Blooper, the first being Mario Kart Wii's Super Blooper.
- The front Wheels slightly resemble the Roller tires from Mario Kart 7.
