The Boomerang Flower is an item in Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Mario Kart Tour. It allows the user to try to hit their opponent, getting up to three shots. After 3 shots, it will break; however, it's possible to abandon the Boomerang Flower and get a new item by collecting an Item Box before the Boomerang Flower returns to the player. It also can hit multiple racers in one throw. The boomerang's appearance is based off Super Mario 3D Land for the Nintendo 3DS. In Mario Kart Tour, it is a Special Item possessed by Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Larry, Toad (Pit Crew), And Boomerang Bro. Even though it is a very hard item to aim it is very satisfying if you hit them.
