A Boss Bass is a type of large hungry Cheep-Cheep found in various Mario games. These fish are carnivorous and will eat anyone or anything that stands (or swims rather) in their way.
A single Boss Bass appears in Mario Kart DS in the game's remake of Banshee Boardwalk replacing the Giant Cheep-Cheep from the original course. Don't worry though, this Boss Bass jumps too high so it won't eat you.
