Cheep Cheep Lagoon (Cheep Cheep Cape in PAL regions) is the third track of the Mushroom Cup in Mario Kart 7. This track makes a retro appearance in Mario Kart Tour as of the game's release.

This track takes place at a lagoon filled with Cheep-Cheeps and Clampies. This is the first track in the Mario Kart series to have fully submersible sections.

Layout[]

Mario Kart 7[]

You start off near two Huts where Miis are watching, then a turn to the right has the ocean with a sign displaying two Cheep Cheeps with the words "Go! Dive! Go!". There are two ways you can go, you can take the normal way, or fall off at the right at a spot to access a secret path that can keep you safe from attacks, though isn't really a shortcut. The Normal path has seaweed and clams from New Super Mario Bros Wii. The clams can hold 2 coins, a coin, or an Item Box. After getting out of the sea, there are 2 paths you can take. the right one has a thick short path that leads to a pool of water with some boosts. The left has a thin long path that has a jump panel. just watch out for the stalactites or you will likely fall into the water. After that, you take a right turn back to the Mii huts.

Mario Kart Tour[]

This track also appears in Mario Kart Tour starting with the New York Tour. Not much of the layout has been changed, apart from updated graphics, and Miis have been removed and replaced with traditional spectators.

Shortcuts[]

After the first turn, when you get on the bridge, go right to access a secret path instead of the normal path. This does not require a Mushroom.
