The DK Jumbo is a kart in the Mario Kart series that debuted in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! as a default Heavy kart. As its name states, it's Donkey Kong's kart in this game, while the kart itself is made from a huge barrel. This kart makes a reappearance in the series in Mario Kart Tour as a Super kart.
Description[]
The DK Jumbo is made from a huge barrel featuring Donkey Kong's trademark 'DK' logo on the front. Part of the barrel has been cut so it can safely hold the characters, and as it's a Double Dash!! kart, there are metal handlebars for the rear character to hold onto. There is a gray platform at the back of the kart for the rear racer to stand on.
In Mario Kart Tour, the DK Jumbo has received some changes apart from an updated design: there is now only one metal handlebar, placed at the back of the kart. Also, the gray platform is shorter and can no longer be used. The DK emblem at the front of the kart has been replaced with the character's emblem.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!![]
The DK Jumbo as seen in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
The DK Jumbo first appears in this game as one of the eight default karts. It is a Heavy kart, meaning it cannot be used when the player's party only consists of Small or Medium racers.
According to its in-game stats, the DK Jumbo is heavier in comparison to the Wario Car, allowing it to push around the Wario Car, the Turbo Birdo, and the Parade Kart. Despite this, the DK Jumbo can still be pushed around by the Koopa King, Piranha Pipes, and Boo Pipes, all of which are tied for the heaviest karts in the game. The DK Jumbo also has great speed but low acceleration.
In actual stats, the DK Jumbo shares its top speed with the Barrel Train, Bullet Blaster, and the Piranha Pipes. It is also tied with the latter for having the worst acceleration of all the two-star acceleration karts. The DK Jumbo also has the second weakest off-road of all the karts.

The Chrome DK Jumbo, the white variant of the DK Jumbo.
The DK Jumbo is one of the returning karts in the game, being released as of the Tokyo Tour. It is classified as a Super kart with Jump Boost Plus, which increases the length of and the points earnt from Jump Boosts. It is equipped with the Wood Tires, but they use the Mario Kart 7 look.
Over the years, two variants of the DK Jumbo have since been released: The Chrome DK Jumbo, a white variant, and the DK Maximum, a red variant with gold stripes, which have Jump Boost Plus and Dash Panel Plus, respectively. The Chrome DK Jumbo is a Super kart like the DK Jumbo, but the DK Maximum is High-End instead. Also, the two variants use different wheels as opposed to the DK Jumbo's wheels, which are the Wood tires based on their appearance in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
