The Daytripper (Royal Racer outside North America) is an unlockable middleweight kart in Mario Kart Wii. The kart looks similar to the Heart Coach and Bloom Coach in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! It strengths are in the handling and Mini-Turbo areas, while its weaknesses are drift and top speed. It is usually white with ornate designs on the side and a cushioned seat. The design color depends on the character racing in it. It can be unlocked by winning the 150cc Leaf Cup, or by playing 2,700 races. Its bike-counterpart is the Sugarscoot.
The Daytripper is low on speed, but its weight is average though. It has high acceleration & good handling. Its drift is not as great, however, but its off-road ability is also average, compared to its weight (3 points off). Its mini-turbo is its second-best stat, which makes this vehicle one of the greatest karts with a good mini-turbo stat.
