The Goo-Goo Buggy is Baby Mario's Kart in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and one of the eight starter karts in this game. It has excellent acceleration but poor top speed, and its low weight means it can be knocked over by heavy karts.
This kart may be a prototype to the Booster Seat from Mario Kart Wii. It also appears in Mario Kart Tour.
Description[]
The Goo-Goo Buggy is modeled after a baby buggy (So it would look really bad if someone tough like Bowser or Wario was driving it), kind of like the Booster Seat and the 4-Wheel Cradle. Its roof is open for the steering wheel and there are two small boosters at the back. Each tire has extra traction and is blue, with silver rims that have a star design. The frame of the kart can be seen connected to the engine beneath the sitting area. Four stability rods suspend the cradle, and are decorated with light blue springs.
The stroller itself is the shape of a half circle, being light blue. There is a smiling yellow flower design on the side with white petals, and there are white swirls. The rim of it is covered in white lace, and a dark blue curtain covers the front (that could be a problem, considering it would shield the driver's vision, you know?). It has a yellow steering wheel and a baby blue sitting chair. And for some reason, it has a silver handle with a blue grip on the top. I guess since it is a stroller, it is required to have one of those. You probably won't use it though, because, guess what... Baby Mario knows how to drive!
The tires are blue like the Red Fire, with the wheels having stars in them.
It gets is name from the onomatopoeia sound that a baby makes.
Appearances[]
Mario Kart: Double Dash!![]
The Goo-Goo Buggy is the second lightest kart in the game. It has poor top speed, but has excellent acceleration and steering. Because of this kart's light weight, it can easily be knocked around by heavier karts.
The Goo-Goo Buggy shares the same speed and acceleration as the Toadette Kart, and since both karts are tied in weight, neither of them can push each other around. The Para-Wing, despite sharing the same acceleration and speed stats, can push both of them around.
In actual stats, the Goo-Goo Buggy, Toadette Kart, and Para-Wing are tied for having the lowest top speed and highest acceleration.

The Goo-Goo Buggy appears in Mario Kart Tour as a High-End Kart, released as of the 2022 Cat Tour. It has Rocket Start Plus, which greatly increases the length of and the points earnt from Rocket Starts.
Overtime, three variants of the Goo-Goo Buggy has since been released: the Goo-Goo Pink, the Goo-Goo Black, and the Goo-Goo Gold.
Trivia![]
- Despite the Goo-Goo Buggy being heavier than the Bullet Blaster, its weight is tied with the latter in Battle Mode.
- The Toadette Kart is heavier than the Goo-Goo Buggy in Battle mode, but in other modes, they have the same weight.
