The Ultra Speeder (ウルトラスピーダー) is a Kart in the "Ultra Rare" lineup of Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. It's a sporty looking vehicle sporting some satisfying statistics—as a Middleweight, it's got no real weaknesses.

Even though it's marked as "Rare," players can use the Ultra Speeder from the get-go.

Description[]

Standard[]

Performance is primary when it comes to Mario Kart, but the Ultra Speeder also brings a sleek design to the table... road... whatever. The vehicle's flanks are painted silver, and orange lights pop out on either side. Large headlights sit flush in the Kart's body, and the black-colored hood exposes the engine slightly. Standard mirrors and a windshield help a driver out, and the back has some exposed pipes. Additionally, four red lights border the exhaust, and the icon of the character finishes up the bumper.

Type S[]

Ultra Speeder (Tanooki Mario) (2)

Tanooki Mario gets some ultra speed in the Ultra Speeder (Type X).

Apart from the black and silver Ultra Speeder, players can opt for a Type S variant that offers a red paint job. There's also a few orange highlights on the vehicle. The body and statistics of the Kart remain the same, however.

Type X[]

Another variant, known as the Type X, let's racers drive in a black variant of the Ultra Speeder. This version also features a blue stripe running down the center (previously black), and the lights are now yellow.

Stats[]

Despite being named the "Ultra Speeder," Speed is actually this vehicle's weakest stat, coming in at only 3 stars. This isn't bad, but it certainly isn't Ultra. It's more of an all-around Kart, which makes it suitable for many Tracks.
