The Flame Rider is an unlockable bike in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
The Flame Rider reassembles a Chopper. The character's logo is found on the headlights, but it is seen seen on the rear of the bike as well. The engine on the bottom of the bike has a Fire Flower, two Mushroom pistons, and a ? mark engraved on it.
It increases acceleration and handling, but decreases weight and traction. Its stats are identical with the Pipe Frame, Wild Wiggler, Standard Bike, W 25 Silver Arrow, Varmint, and City Tripper.
