Luigi Circuit is the first track of the Lightning Cup in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. It is the sequel to both Peach Circuit and Mario Circuit in this game. This track makes a retro appearance in Mario Kart DS as the third track of the Leaf Cup, and in Mario Kart Tour as of the 2023 Mario vs. Luigi Tour.
Unlike the other circuits in Super Circuit, this one features more sharp turns, and what makes this course special is that it takes place when it's raining.
Layout[]
Mario Kart: Super Circuit[]
Luigi Circuit appears as the first track of the Lightning Cup. Unlike Luigi Raceway from Mario Kart 64, it isn't simplistic; it features tight turns, rain (being the first course in the series to have such feature), and puddles which make racers spin out for about three seconds. Because of the rain, traction is decreased. In the background, there are four farms and a parked Luigi blimp, which takes off in the second lap.
Racers start with a right turn which is followed by a left, leading to a right u-turn. Ahead is a long right turn, which ends with a sharp left u-turn. After the u-turn is a right turn, which leads to a wide right turn after a very short left. Next is a 135 degree left turn, followed by a long straightaway before a right u-turn. This leads to an unstable pathway that takes them to a sharp left turn, which is before the last u-turn in the track, which is right. A long straightaway follows, leading the racer to the Finish Line.

Mario Kart DS[]
Luigi Circuit makes its first reappearance in another Mario Kart game with Mario Kart DS, as the third track of the Leaf Cup. The track received visual upgrades, but the track aesthetic and layout remains exactly the same, with the exception of Coins, which are missing. The Luigi blimp is now floating in the air, and the puddles cause less impact.

- 4-8: Luigi must perform 9 powerslides in one lap.

Mario Kart Tour[]
The track made its long awaited re-return in Mario Kart Tour since the 2023 Mario vs. Luigi Tour. Again, this track received visual upgrades, but like other GBA tracks in this game, some turns have been simplified due to Tour's turning physics. This track introduces short inclines for performing Tricks, usually at the end of the u-turns, and reintroduces Coins from Super Circuit after their absence in DS.
Shortcuts[]
- Right before the second-to-last turn, one can go through the gap between the 7th and 5th block to the right.
- The blimp takes off on the second lap.✱ for MKSC
