The Hylian Kite is a downloadable glider found in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
It appears to have blue cloth spread over a wooden frame, with the Hylian Crest printed across the top, with strings connecting it to the kart.
The color scheme and pattern on the glider, as well as the name, seem to be based on the Hylian Shield.
It gives a boost in acceleration, but a decrease in weight.
A CPU-controlled Link will use this glider, paired with the Triforce Tires and Master Cycle.
