Mario Circuit (マリオサーキット) is a party board found in Fortune Street games that feature Super Mario characters, いただきストリートDS (Itadaki Street DS) and Fortune Street. The map is based Mario Circuit, the famous group of tracks from the Mario Kart series.

Although the game board shares similarities with some of the Mario Circuit courses, such as Princess Peach's Castle, Chain Chomps, and Piranha Plants, none of them are direct counterparts.

Layout[]

いただきストリートDS[]

Mario Circuit (Fortune Street) (3)

A Mii named B-Squared's turn is up.

Itadaki Street DS's original Mario Circuit features design elements from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!'s Mario Circuit and Mario Kart DS's Mario Circuit. It has large loops and hairpin turns, things you'd expect from a normal Mario Kart course, and a long straightaway goes over sections of the track with bridges. To the far left of the track, players get to go through an underground tunnel. To beat the board in Tour Mode, 1st or 2nd must be achieved against Luigi, Toad, and Birdo.

If Mario Circuit is beaten, Birdo is unlocked.

Fortune Street[]

As for the 2011 version, the layout of the board is exactly the same, and most design elements have returned. The only differences are graphical updates and a few minor details such as a little house to the left of Peach's Castle. It's kind of comparable to the appearance of Mario Kart Wii's Mario Circuit. This time, the player must also get 2nd or higher, but the new competitors are Mario, Princess Daisy, and Diddy Kong.

Trivia![]

  • The United States description of the board in Fortune Street reads: "A race track built within the Mushroom Kingdom. There's a never-ending drone of white-hot engines whizzing around the track."
  • いただきストリートDS was only released in Japan, so that's why it's primarily listed in Japanese kana.
  • Mario Circuit's the only Mario series board that doesn't change in layout whether the game is on Easy or Standard.
