The Parafoil, also known as the Paraglider, is an unlockable glider in Mario Kart 7 and in Mario Kart 8.
In both of the games, they offer good acceleration, but bad weight. Its stats are identical with the Cloud Glider, Peach Parasol, Parachute, Flower Glider, Bowser Kite, MKTV Parafoil, and Hylian Kite.

Mario Kart 7[]
The glider made its first appearance in Mario Kart 7 as an unlockable glider. Its stats are identical with the Flower Glider, Peach Parasol, and the Swooper.
Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[]
They return in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, with an upgraded appearance. The colors of the glider now features a white center with yellow, pink, and blue colors and it lacks the emblem of the driver. Unlike in Mario Kart 7, it is available from the start.
