The Peach Parasol is an unlockable glider that appears in Mario Kart 7 and in Mario Kart 8.
It is based on Princess Peach's parasol that she has in Super Princess Peach and other titles.
It decreases speed and weight, but it increases acceleration and handling. It stats are identical with the Cloud Glider, Parachute, Parafoil, Flower Glider, Bowser Kite, and MKTV Parafoil, Hylian Kite.
History[]
Mario Kart 7[]
The Peach Parasol makes its first appearance in the game Mario Kart 7.
Like the Birthday Girl, its color only changes when it's used by female characters: Princess Peach (Pink), Princess Daisy (Orange), Rosalina (Blue), and Honey Queen (Purple); all the other characters use Peach's personal pink parasol.
It gives a small boost to acceleration but makes the kart slightly lighter. It has the same stats as the Flower Glider.
Mario Kart 8 / Deluxe[]
It reappears in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and is now more opaque and adorned with a royal pattern on the white line and the shaft is now brown instead of tan.
The same color changes apply like the previous game. Baby Daisy and Baby Rosalina both use the same different-colored versions of the glider as their adult counterparts. The glider has the same stats as it does in Mario Kart 7.
