The Piranha Pipes is a kart owned by Petey Piranha in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! It consists of two green Warp Pipes stuck together, referencing the Piranha Plant's role in past Super Mario games: Rising from pipes.
The kart can be unlocked by completing the Mirror Star Cup with a 1st place win.

According to the in-game stats, the Piranha Pipes have the same speed and acceleration as the Wario Car and DK Jumbo. It, however, shares its weight with the Koopa King and Boo Pipes, making them one of the heaviest karts in the game.
In actual stats, the Piranha Pipes' acceleration rate is equal to the DK Jumbo, to which it also shares its top speed with, as well as both the Barrel Train and Bullet Blaster, both of which are lightweight karts. The Piranha Pipes, Boo Pipes, and Barrel Train are all tied for being the least bouncy karts after making a jump.
Despite its status as a heavyweight kart, the Piranha Pipes have better off-roading unlike most heavyweight karts, tying with the Barrel Train, but beaten out by the Boo Pipes.
