RMX Bowser's Castle 1

RMX Bowser's Castle 1 was one of the tracks that premiered in the Bowser Tour in Mario Kart Tour. Being a remix course, it is, of course, based on track themes from past Mario Kart games, this being based on the Bowser Castle courses from Mario Kart: Super Circuit.

Layout[]

Even though this course is based on visuals of the Bowser Castle courses from Super Circuit, it sports a different layout and new features. In the beginning, there is a small straight with one of many conveyer belts in this course, and depending on your pace, they will either be switched forward or in the opposite direction. After going over the conveyer belt, you take a 90 degree left into a straight with Item Boxes before taking an identical turn to the one before. This will lead you into a Dash Panel ramp that takes you onto a small platform with another Dash Panel ramp, before being thrusted toward some angry Thwomps. Once past the Thwomps, you take a sharp right into a rather unremarkable straight, before taking a sharp left turn toward multiple conveyer belts, with one half facing the forward direction and the other facing the opposite. A Thwomp sits at the end of these conveyer belts, be sure to watch out for it. After all that, you take a slight right into a straight with two conveyer belts on the right side, these will or will not be beneficial depending on your pace. After bypassing or driving over those conveyer belts, you are then sent into a sharp left towards a ramp that takes you to a long straightaway with three sets of conveyer belts akin to the ones we saw just before the Thwomp. Be sure to watch out for multiple ruthless Thwomps after going over the second set of conveyers; once passed, you will take a sharp left into a straight before taking another left. Right after that turn, a small conveyer belt can be taken, of which is off to the right side of the player. Finally, you go down a small straight before taking a 90 degree right turn toward the Finish Line, where you will proceed over some grated paths in order to get to it.

Shortcuts[]

Just before the final turn toward the finish, there is an inclined platform with a conveyer belt that will cut the final turn if it is moving the correct direction. No item is required to take this shortcut.

This is the first and only RMX course to be based on a track theme outside of Super Mario Kart, with this being based on a track theme from Mario Kart: Super Circuit.
