RMX Vanilla Lake 2 is the final RMX course, and final race course overall, to be introduced in Mario Kart Tour, being introduced in the 2023 Sundae Tour. Being an RMX course, its aesthetics and general layout style is based off of that of other Mario Kart tracks, with this being the second course to be based off the Vanilla Lake courses from Super Mario Kart, the first being RMX Vanilla Lake 1.

Being based on the general aspects of the Vanilla Lake courses, this course offers very similar aesthetics and features, though it isn't without some new additions. Mainly, blue and white striped hot air balloons appear throughout the course, as well as multiple igloos, which were not present in these courses previously. At the start of the main layout, you drive along a wooden bridge over ice-cold water straight into an enormous igloo, of which is the largest one present. Inside, there is a set of Item Boxes along with two Penguins acting as obstacles. Exiting, you are greeted with another bridge which leads you back onto the ice path with many Snowmen strewn about. After taking a hard right, players go down a winding path which leads them to a prolonged right turn toward a massive ice ramp with a Glide Panel at the end of it. Going off this ramp leads you into a glide section which takes right over the igloo seen earlier. Once landed, players take a sharp left turn toward a split path with an igloo in the middle of the off-road in between. Then not long after, the paths merge back into one which lead to yet another prolonged left turn that takes you to the straight-away before the Start/Finish Line, where then after the lap is completed.

Off-road areas are practically all over this course, some can be utilized as cuts if using a mushroom or power item.
Shortly after the bridge leading back from inside the igloo, yet another igloo can be seen off to the left in some off-road with a small ramp at the end of it. Use a mushroom or power item in order to cut through.
At the split path section, the igloo present in the middle can be used as a cut if you use a mushroom or power item.
