Bowser Castle 1 is the fourth track of the Mushroom Cup in Super Mario Kart. It is the first of the three iterations of Bowser Castle in this game. This track makes a retro appearance in Mario Kart: Super Circuit as the last track of the Extra Mushroom Cup.
This is the easiest Bowser Castle iteration, featuring a few jumps, Thwomps, sharp turns, and lava filling up the floor of the track,

Super Mario Kart[]
It introduced the signature lava pits, Thwomps, and sharp 90° turns. There are many jump pads and Boost Pads in this track.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit[]
This track also appears in Mario Kart: Super Circuit, but the Thwomps have been removed and the background uses the GBA Bowser Castle 1 background.

- This is the first track in the Mario Kart series to feature lava.
- This is the only track in Super Mario Kart's Mushroom Cup that failed to appear in Mario Kart Tour.
