This Shy Guy isn't looking for any trouble, he's just having fun!
Shy Guy Snowboarders are an obstacle in Mario Kart Wii in the course DK Summit. Three Shy Guy Snowboarders are seen at the Half-pipe section of the course near the end. The Shy Guys slide from each side of the Half-pipe doing stunts each time. You can also do some stunts yourself to keep your speed up as you avoid the pink snowdrifts (if you do not have a Mushroom) but avoid the Shy Guy Snowboarders as running into them will spin you out causing you to lose some speed letting down the crowd. While this is a very minor setback during Grand Prix, in Time Trial, it can be the cause of missing those exceptional times. The Shy Guy Snowboarders can be slowed down for a split second by running into them with a Starman or a Bullet Bill or by hitting them with a Shell. The usage of a Lightning also spins them (but doesn't shrink them).

- The Shy Guy Snowboarders are very similar to the Shy Guy Skaters from Sherbet Land in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Kart 8, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
