The Soda Jet is an unlockable Kart body in Mario Kart 7. It resembles a toy jet, which offers a Speed and Acceleration boost. This kart also appears in Mario Kart Tour.
Description[]
As its name implies, the Soda Jet is a small, elliptical jet with a turquoise body and a cream underside. It also has teal-colored wings - what would a jet be without wings? The jet has a large headlight in the middle of the front of the body, with a smaller headlight below it. It features some other basic parts of a typical jet, such as smaller rear wings and a yellow rear fin. There are two black exhaust pipes positioned aside the rear fin. The character's emblem is located on the sides of the fin and on the wings.
How to Unlock[]
- Collect as many Coins as you can and hope you get lucky.
- Purchase from the Daily Selects for 2,000 Coins.
- Or obtain it from the Pipe.

The Soda Jet as it appears in Mario Kart 7.
This is the Soda Jet's first appearance in a Mario Kart game. It boosts Speed and Acceleration, while it lowers Weight and Off-Road.

Mario Kart Tour[]
The Soda Jet reappears as of the release of the mobile spin-off game, Mario Kart Tour, as a Super Kart. It has Mini-Turbo Plus, which increases the length of and the points earnt from Mini-Turbos. This Kart is equipped with the Sponge tires from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
There is blue version of this kart, dubbed the Blue Soda, which uses the Cyber Slick tires from 8 and 8 Deluxe, though they are red instead. This variant is classified as a High-End Kart. This variant has Dash Panel Plus instead, which increases the length of and the points earnt from Dash Panel boosts.
Trivia![]
- This is the only Kart in Mario Kart 7 that has a positive Speed and Acceleration stat.
