Squeaky Clean Sprint is a track that was first introduced in Wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC, as the last track of the Feather Cup. It then reappeared in Mario Kart Tour as part of the Vacation Tour. Taking place in a ginormous bathroom, Squeaky Clean Sprint takes you through many places in any typical bathroom, with several Super Mario references sprinkled all about.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[]
The course begins on top of a bathroom counter, with the starting banner being held up by Mario-themed mugs, with various bathroom amenities inside them. Similar to 3DS Bowser's Castle, there is an even larger starting gate up above the regular one, of which is held up by balloons. After the start, racers immediately plunge into a sink full of water, with a sealed drain inside of which can be tricked off of. Players emerge and are lead toward the first set of Item Boxes, where a huge yellow-striped bath towel leads down to a bright-blue tiled floor. You are then directed left via large cassette tapes and pencils, onto a composition book acting as a large ramp. This all leads to a big jump into a half-filled bathtub with a shower head continuously running water, someone's gonna have to turn that off! Also in this tub is a massive hula-hoop surrounding a large Innertube Goomba, a giant beach ball, and a big rubber duck wearing Mario's cap!
Once jumping off the ramp, there are multiple ways to approach driving through the tub. The fastest way is to utilize the three sponges off to the left, though that does come at the cost of there being less Coins to collect. Alternatively, there are two Bath Bombs that are slowly dissolving, a substance propelling water emanates from them, of which can be tricked off of. Here, Coins are more abundant, making this a worth-while alternative. Either way, all routes lead to a large opened drain sucking water through quickly, of which is guarded by a Mecha Cheep Cheep, though they do not act as an obstacle. Once at the drain entrance, there is an Item set, though do not fear if you miss an Item Box, as Coins and Item Boxes will be sucked through the drain along with you. After entering the drain, you may notice many giant screws spread along the passageway, use these as ramps if needed. Afterwards, you proceed to take a left, where a ring resembling the Binding Band from Super Mario Odyssey can be seen off to the left in some Off-Road. Afterwards, you take a steep incline before being lead back out via a large net where another, albeit smaller, Mecha Cheep Cheep can be seen underneath.
After leaping out the drain, you will find yourself on the bathroom floor, where even more Mario-themed bathroom items guide you through the course. A humongous fan blowing air is present on the prolonged left turn a bit after the drain exit, of which will practically force you to take an outside line due to the air blowing you away from taking a closer line. On the outskirts of this turn, however, lies a Half-pipe at the end of a towel-like cloth. On this Half-pipe, Item Boxes and Coins are present and up for grabs. After making it through that section, you are directed toward a huge towel ramp held up by large clips, of which has an Item set and a Glide Ramp at the end of it. Going off the Glide Ramp will take you over a gigantic toilet, leading you over to some wooden shelves. Here, there are two paths present, one upper, and one bottom, though only the bottom path is accessible on the first lap on 150cc. Taking the bottom path will guide you right before making you take a prolonged left turn along multiple different striped-towels, before ultimately leading you to the Finish Line. On laps 2 and 3, the much faster top path is accessible, though in order to reach it you must trick off a large Waterspout coming from the toilet that activates after around 50 seconds into the race, which will in turn, give you enough air to reach it. Once on the top shelf, you take an immediate and sharp left turn toward a Glide Ramp, leading you to the Finish Line. It doesn't end there, however, as by taking the top path, you have access to multiple different routes after the Start/Finish Line. For starters, going behind the sink will lead you to two paths, one takes you onto a receipt ramp, and the other leads to a Dash Panel ramp, both taking you to similar points on the course. Finally, by taking the top path, you also have access to a path above some pink containers on the far right, of which has multiple Dash Panels and Item Boxes present. All of this leads to a receipt ramp, of which drops you onto a Trampoline Mushroom before depositing you back onto the main course.
Mario Kart Tour[]
Not too long after, this course reappears in Mario Kart Tour starting with the Vacation Tour. There have been a few visual changes with the course, with the graphical quality being lessened overall for obvious reasons. The course plays out relatively the same for the first portion, although now the floor you land on after going down the yellow-striped bath towel is white instead of bright blue. Along with this, the book ramp before the tub section is now made up of multiple books and sticky-note ramps, making it possible to chain many tricks up this ramp.
The placements of objects in the bathtub section have been switched around, mainly with the Innertube Goomba, beach ball, and rubber duck now being outside the confines to the hula-hoop. Along with that, the Mecha Cheep Cheep is now more of an obstacle than before. Inside the drain, while the water drainage effect is still here, Item Boxes and Coins are now fixed rather than moving. Along with this, paperclips, which were present in the drain in previous version, are now more prominent and abundant. The golden ring in the middle of the Off-Road section also now resembles the Binding Band even more closely, with it now having a white gem, making it even more accurate to the one in Super Mario Odyssey. After exiting the drain, multiple clothespins are present and act as ramps that can be tricked off of. Item Boxes also no longer occupy the Half-pipe. The Waterspout produced by the toilet now activates on the first lap instead of the second. The bottom path of the wooden shelf section received not much change apart from the implementation of a clothespin ramp at the end of the Off-Road shortcut present here. The top path also has hardly any change, apart form Daisy's blow dryer now being turned on, though it has little to no effect on gameplay. And finally, the alternate paths after the Start/Finish Line remain mostly the same other than the removal of a Dash Panel ramp from one of the routes, in favor of a regular trick ramp.
Shortcuts[]
- Halfway through the drain, there is an Off-Road section with a gold ring. Use a mushroom to boost through it.
- Once at the section with the huge fan, there is a small off-road section made up of pink suds, which can be boosted though with a mushroom or power item, which can also repel some of the speed loss from the fan.
- Near the end of the lap, when taking the bottom path after gliding over the huge toilet, there is a large off-road section, which can also be boosted through with a mushroom or power item. In the Tour version, a light-blue clothespin ramp sits at the end of the cut.
- On the second lap, the large toilet shoots water like a Waterspout. You can use the waterspout to send yourself in the upper path, which is faster and has a glide ramp at the end. On 200cc in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, this shortcut is possible without waiting for the Waterspout to appear.
