The Standard DB is Dry Bones's standard kart, and one of his 3 karts in Mario Kart DS, along with the Dry Bomber and the Banisher.

The color of this car is tan in Mario Kart DS. The Standard Kart S replaces this kart in Mario Kart Wii, where it takes on a gray color instead.

How To Unlock

• Unlock Dry Bones by completing the 50cc nitro grand prix with all gold trophies.
• Complete every Mirror Mode Cup. (If Dry Bones Has Not Been Unlocked)

Statistics

The Standard DB has very high acceleration and handling stats (best out of all Standard Karts,) but a low top speed (worst out of all Standard Karts). It has the 3rd longest Mini-Turbo in the game, behind only the Dry Bomber and Egg 1. It is often used for learning snaking because of these traits, and is often seen at beginner and intermediate levels of play because of this; however, it is rarely used in Time Trials world records at all. Because of its extremely low speed, players usually pick another standard kart if they need the two Mushrooms.
