The Streamliner (ストリームライン Sutorīmurain) is a kart in the Mario Kart series.
Description[]
It is a large blue racing kart with a white line down the middle of the design, with the player's logo in the front and on the sides. It is shaped like a 1970s Porsche 917/10 Cam-Am prototype.
In Mario Kart Wii, a vehicle named the Jetsetter, looks quite similar to the Streamliner, and the Blue Seven which debuted in Mario Kart 7, can be considered the Streamliner's spiritual successor, due to both vehicles baring a striking resemblance, the only notable difference in terms of stats is that both are faster and heavier, but have lower acceleration and handling attributes.

The Streamliner debuted in Mario Kart DS, as one of Luigi's three signature karts, along with the Poltergust 4000 and the Standard LG.
How to unlock[]
To unlock the Streamliner, the player needs to complete all Nitro Grand Prix cups in the 100cc engine class. Or, the player can complete all Nitro or Retro Grand Prix cups in 150cc. Statistics[]
Luigi's Streamliner is heavier than his other karts and gets better items, but has much less speed, acceleration, and handling. It has low drift, allowing for easier straightaway mini-turbos, but poorer mini-turbo quality, which makes snaking more difficult.
Luigi's Streamliner shares its speed with Waluigi's Zipper, its weight is equivalent to Mario's B Dasher and its handling is shared with Toad's Mushmellow and R.O.B.'s ROB-BLS.
When the Streamliner is used with Luigi, its weight total adds up to 73, which is equivalent to Mario's B Dasher (when used by Mario) and Donkey Kong's Standard DK (when used by Donkey Kong).
The Streamliner, along with the B Dasher, are the heaviest karts within the mediumweight class. It also has the lowest drift within the mediumweight class.
Mario Kart Tour[]

The Streamliner reappeared in Mario Kart Tour, where it is classified as a Super kart. In this game, the Streamliner is equipped with the Standard tires from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The Streamliner extends slipstreams and grants additional points while performing one.
Red Streamliner[]

Mario Kart Tour offers a color variant of the Streamliner, simply called the Red Streamliner (レッドストリーム Reddo Sutorīmu), which as its name implies, it is a red variant of the Streamliner, and is also equipped with the Standard tires from 8 and Deluxe. Also, just like the Streamliner, it is classified as a Super kart, and extends slipstreams and grants additional points while performing one.
The Red Streamliner could be unlocked during the Holiday Tour, where if Gold Pass members collected 152 Grand Stars, they could get it via Tour Gift.
