The Super Blooper (Turbo Blooper in European versions of Mario Kart Wii) is a Kart in the Mario Kart series that debuted in Mario Kart Wii as an unlockable Medium kart. It resembles a Blooper, with decent speed and great Off-Road capabilities. It also appears in Mario Kart Tour as a Super kart.

Description[]

Hence the name, the Super Blooper literally takes the look of the familiar enemy (and Item), the Blooper. It has various features to make it a sporty kart, including a cockpit for the driver, a stripe on its wings and on the two back tentacles which act as exhaust pipes. Its shape could be based off a Porsche 911.

The Super Blooper makes its Mario Kart debut in this game, as an unlockable Kart for Medium racers. It's one of three unlockable karts in the Medium class along with the Daytripper and the Sprinter. Its bike counterpart is the Dolphin Dasher, since they have similar stats and are based on creatures in the Mario franchise. Its Small counterpart is the Tiny Titan and its Large counterpart is the Offroader, as they, like the Super Blooper, have the highest Off-Road stat and the lowest Drift stat of all the karts in their classes.

In terms of its stats, the Super Blooper has above-average Speed as well as high Off-Road, which is the highest of all medium karts. It has average Weight, though it is the lightest medium kart. It has below-average stats everywhere else apart from Drift, which is the worst of all medium vehicles, which is also tied with the Wario Bike for the third-worst in the game, behind the Phantom and the Offroader. Its stat total is 272, which is shared with the Flame Flyer and the Jet Bubble (Bubble Bike). Because of its balanced stats and has high speed and off-road, the Super Blooper is good for beginners, and is also considered to be the best kart for getting excellent performances on cups in 50cc.

Excluding drift, it shares its Speed with the Shooting Star, its Weight with the Sneakster, its Acceleration with the Blue Falcon, its Off-Road with the Booster Seat and its Mini-Turbo with the Standard Kart L.

Its flippers and tentacles move when boosting.

The Super Blooper reappears as of the release of the mobile spin-off game, Mario Kart Tour, classified as a Super Kart. It reuses Mario's variant from Mario Kart Wii instead, which now has a gray seat and it is equipped with the Pipe Frame's tires. However, its flippers and tentacles no longer move.

The Super Blooper was released along with its gold version, dubbed the Gold Blooper, which also has Mini Turbo Plus and is classified as Super.
