The Super Glider is a glider in Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, Mario Kart 8, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It does not offer any stat boosts in any way. Its color scheme is determined by the character who is using it.
In all of its appearances, it offers no stats, meaning it gives no effect to the driver's performance. Its stats are identical with the Wario Wing, Waddle Wing, Plane Glider, Gold Glider, and Paper Glider.
History[]
Mario Kart 7[]
The Super Glider made its first appearance in Mario Kart 7. It is the only available glider unlocked from the start. It features the emblem of the character on each side. It doesn't affect the driver's performance. Its stats are identical with the Gold Glider and Beast Glider.
Mario Kart Arcade GP DX[]
In Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, it is the default glider of every character. However, it can't be changed because it is the only glider in the game.
Mario Kart 8/Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[]
It appears again in Mario Kart 8, having an upgraded appearance from the previous installment. This time, it features the emblem of the character in the center of the glider, instead of on both sides. It also has a stripe in the middle of the glider. The color of the stripe varies by character. Once again, it doesn't increase nor decrease any stats. The Gold Glider has an emblem of an 8 instead of the character's emblem.
The Super Glider returns in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Everybody knows this, people!
