The Swooper (Swoop in PAL regions in Mario Kart 7) is an unlockable Glider part in Mario Kart 7, with its design being based on a cave dwelling bat in the Super Mario series, known as a Swooper. This Glider increases Acceleration.
It also appears in Mario Kart Tour.
Description[]
The Swooper as it appears in Mario Kart 7.
The basic cutout of this glider is shaped like a bat- long, pointed wings form the literal wings, which have a sharp edge on the top. They are outlined in violet-blue, and the rest of the wingspan is colored purple. Strapped to the furthermost corners are the tan strings to connect the Swooper to the Kart frame. The center of the glider where the wings cave into is a small, blue circle- the Swooper's body, with yellow "Y"s resembling his feet. A larger oval forms the head, with a big red nose and squinty eyes. Atop it's "head" are two blue ears with yellow insides.
How to Unlock[]
- Collect as many Coins as you can and hope you get lucky.
- Purchase from the Daily Selects for 10,000 Coins if it appears.
- Or obtain it from the Pipe/Golden Pipe.

This glider has good Acceleration but decreases Weight. Its stats are identical to the Peach Parasol, the Paraglider, and the Flower Glider.

Mario Kart Tour[]
The Gold Swooper, the gold variant of the Swooper.
The Swooper makes an appearance in Mario Kart Tour as a High-End Glider. It has Bob-omb Plus, where it increases the chances of obtaining a Bob-omb from an Item Box.
There is also a gold version of this glider, dubbed the Gold Swooper. This glider has Coin Plus, where it increases the chances of obtaining a Coin from an Item Box.
