The Toad Kart is Toad's kart in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. Its design is based on the classic Pipe Frame karts that appeared in Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, and Mario Kart: Super Circuit. This kart also inspired the Standard Karts in Mario Kart DS onwards, as they look similar in appearance, but lacks handlebars. This kart, along with Toad and Toadette, is unlocked by completing the Special Cup on 100cc with a 1st-place win.
The Toadette Kart uses the same design as this kart, but has different colors and stats.

Statistics[]
Compared to the other lightweight karts, the Toad Kart has fast speed but slower than average acceleration. Due to its light nature, it can be pushed around by heavier karts. It shares its weight with the Rattle Buggy, but unlike said kart, the Toad Kart isn't as bouncy. However, both karts aren't as heavy as the Koopa Dasher, another kart with identical stats.
In actual stats, the Toad Kart has the highest top speed amongst the two-star speed lightweight karts, but has the slowest acceleration of all four-star acceleration lightweight karts.
