The Triple Bananas is an item in the Mario Kart series introduced in Mario Kart DS, where the racer receives three Bananas, which can either be stacked behind their kart for a good means of protection, or rotate around the kart. It serves as a replacement for the Banana Bunch, instead of being a row of five bananas, it's now a row of three bananas.
This item appears in Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Mario Kart Tour. Although it doesn't appear as an item in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Triple Bananas appear once a Giant Banana is touched.
Characteristics[]
A Banana, or a Triple Banana look identical, with the difference being that the triple banana has 3 bananas. When you see the bananas, they have a green top, that fades to yellow, then the peel plops, When it it's landed. It has black eyes, with white pupils, and Has a smirking smile which can be seen anywhere, Yoshi Circuit on the Nintendo Gamecube Controller, Wario's Gold Mine on the Wii, and Mario Kart Stadium in the recent games, Mario Kart 8 and 8 Deluxe.
Usage[]
As the Triple Bananas can be used individually, the effects are very similar to just one Banana. If you have the banana, you can put it along the track, that's a suspecting driver can slip on, and can spin out the vehicle, or in some cases, make them lose a lot of places. If you are on the defensive perspective, you have to avoid them, when they are floating behind the vehicle, or placed by a driver.
In Mario Kart Tour, This item is a Special Item, where only Yellow Shy Guy, Daisy (Swimwear), Luigi (Chef), Waluigi (Bus Driver), Dixie Kong, Donkey Kong Jr. (SNES) Chef Mii Racing Suit, Pokey Mii Racing Suit, Daisy Mii Racing Suit and Orange Mii Racing Suit can use it.
