Waluigi Stadium is the last track of the Flower Cup in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. This track makes a retro appearance in Mario Kart Wii as the last track of the Banana Cup, in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass DLC, as the third track of the Boomerang Cup, and in Mario Kart Tour as of the 2023 Mario vs. Luigi Tour. This track is the prequel to Wario Colosseum.
The track takes place inside a stadium, hence the name. It is a dirt track just like Wario Stadium from Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 64, but not as long and complex. It also features Mechanical Piranha Plants and half-pipes section for its retro appearances.
Layout[]
Mario Kart: Double Dash!![]
It's a dirt track with parts that have puddles of mud and if drivers get in them, they will slow down. There are also fireball rings that they have to fly through after going up a Dash Panel. Another part has Podoboo Cogs that shape a Y. These need to be dodged. When drivers go through this obstacle course, there's also fake animated Piranha Plants, called Mecha Piranha Plants, that will try to block the path.
In the course map, the part that goes over the large jump is now seen as going underneath, but this is an illusion created by the fact that it is technically a "gap", which the map records in this game.
Mario Kart Wii[]
This track returns a few years later in Mario Kart Wii, with it keeping the same aesthetic, though many half-pipes were added (most of them over the pipes the Piranha Plants come out of). It is a track where it is muddy and dirty, and it is much like a dirt bike course. Also, the three piranha plant pipes' patterns were reversed; the pattern is now right, left, right.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[]
This course returned yet again in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass. The track has improved visually, and now takes place during the night instead of sunset, with the stadium having multi-colored lights, and the Jumbotron now features a leaderboard and a picture of Waluigi. The "Waluigi Kart" sign is now replaced with a "Waluigi Stadium" sign. There are now diggers that can be found in certain parts of the course, in which this could be a possible reference to the Gold Mantis, one of Waluigi's karts in Mario Kart DS. At the start, the bumps before the first jump are now segmented instead of being mandatory. Many tires have been added around the track, and also now block the dirt shortcut after the second jump. The Mecha Piranha Plants have now changed positions drastically, with the first two now being pointed diagonally toward each-other, though the third roughly keeps it's position from Mario Kart Wii. In addition, there are now two anti-gravity sections that feature Spin Boost Pillars, with one including a Glide Panel towards the end of the course. Modern sponsors also replace many of the original ones.
Mario Kart Tour[]
Waluigi Stadium reappears for the third time in Mario Kart Tour, starting with the 2023 Mario vs. Luigi Tour. It takes inspiration primarily from its Mario Kart 8 Deluxe counterpart, albeit with a few texture downgrades. For starters, the sky has been reverted back to being sunset, and the bumps at the start are no longer segmented like how they were in 8 Deluxe. Most Dash Panels that were either added or removed in the previous iteration of the course have been restored the amounts in the original. Tires added around the track in the previous version no longer block the shortcut after the second jump, nor are they present around the track. The first two Mecha Piranha Plants that were made diagonal in 8 Deluxe have been reverted to their original positions, though curiously the third was removed entirely. The anti-gravity sections on the Kanaami roads via the Half-pipes have also been removed, most likely due to the game's lack of anti-gravity.
Shortcuts[]
- After the second jump, turn to the left and boost across the mud.✱ for all games

Trivia![]
- There is a track in Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 called Waluigi Stadium in the Waluigi Cup.
- This course was originally supposed to come in Wave 3 of the Booster Course Pass as the second course of the Moon Cup (as evidenced by it being labeled in the files as "Cnsw_36"), but it got pushed back to Wave 4 for as of yet unknown reasons.
