Wario Colosseum and is the first track in the Special Cup in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. This track is the sequel to Waluigi Stadium. Like N64 Wario Stadium, this track has yet to make a retro appearance.

Hence its name, it occupies a stadium that bears a decent resemblance to the real-world colosseum, an ancient stadium that was used by gladiators during the Roman era.

Layout[]

This track is held inside a giant Colosseum (hence the name) during nighttime. There are many Boost Pads on this track. There are many rails on the track to keep you from falling, but there are also many parts where there aren't rails, such as parts with small turns. It is the longest track in the game, with an average time of 75–80 seconds if you do not fall off the course. However, it is only 2 laps, not the usual 3 laps.

Trivia![]

  • This is so far the only course in a main Mario Kart game to have only two laps (assuming no lap adjustments).
  • The Prima Guide indicates that this game's Rainbow Road is the longest track. That is in regards to total time. Wario Colosseum is the longest in regards to actual length.
