Wario's Shipyard (known as Wario Galleon in Europe) appears in Mario Kart 7 as the second track in the Star Cup. This course has not appeared in a recent Mario Kart game yet.

This course takes place in and out of water but primarily based in the water. Many hazards are encountered such as anchors, which sway back and forth, Crabs, who move back and forth, Pipes, which blow air out at you, mud splotches, bone fish, and lastly the good-old bottomless pits. It is possible the track is based on the game Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land, as the game featured a pirate theme. The track also boasts a remix of the main theme of the Wario Land and the Wario sign before the gliding section is shown wearing the Bull Pot power-up from the game.

  • One can use a Mushroom after the last giant pipe to cut off a turn.
  • At the end of the course, there is a ramp that skips the last turn.

  • This is the only Mario Kart 7 course where the water is a different color. It is still blue, but it is a darker color.
