The Wildlife (ワイルドライフ Wairudo Raifu) is Donkey Kong's unlockable tertiary Kart in Mario Kart DS. His other two are Standard DK and Rambi Rider.

The Wildlife closely resembles a green safari Jeep, kinda like the Jeep CJ-3A, and the kart also has a gray antenna with a red flag on it. The emblem is located on the hood and both sides of the flag.
How to unlock[]
- Complete all Nitro Grand Prix cups in the 100cc engine class. However, only Donkey Kong can use it.
- Or, the player can instead complete all Nitro or Retro Grand Prix cups in the 150cc engine class. This opens the Wildlife to Luigi and Peach when every character gets to choose between seven different karts.
To let any other character use it, complete all cups in Mirror Mode.
Stats[]
The Wildlife has excellent speed and drift, mediocre acceleration, and comparatively poor stats in other areas. Due to its short Mini-Turbo and very poor handling, and the fact that other karts such as Wario's Brute and R.O.B.'s ROB-BLS have equal or superior stats in all areas besides drift, the Wildlife is a very uncommon choice even for players that do not utilize snaking.
Its weight is equivalent to Wario's Brute, making them both the lightest karts within the heavyweight class.
When used with Donkey Kong, its weight total adds up to 64, which is equivalent to Mario and Luigi's respective standard karts (when used with Mario and Luigi for their standard karts) and Waluigi's Gold Mantis (when used with Waluigi).
