Wuhu Town is a battle stage that appears in Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as a retro battle stage.
Layout[]
Mario Kart 7[]
Joining Wuhu Loop and Maka Wuhu, it is the third course to be located on Wuhu Island, and the only battle stage. As its name suggests, it's located in the town, right where Wuhu Loop begins. The course has a large fountain in the middle, which can be tricked off of, as well as several paths leading around the town. Most of the course is covered with brick, however, some sections have grassy areas which slow down the players. The course uses the same music as the other two new Battle Stages (Sherbet Rink and Honeybee Hive), instead of the remix of the Wii Sports Resort theme used in Wuhu Loop and Maka Wuhu.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[]
It reappears in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with updated graphics. Unlike the first game, it is in broad daylight and has the lights replaced with triangular flags. The water fountain in the middle is replaced with a flower patch, with a compass rose around it. The central building is redesigned and connected to the adjacent buildings, The blimp now features the Mario Kart logo, and the basketball court is now open to players to drive into. The course uses a remix of the Wii Sports Resort theme instead of its original music from Mario Kart 7.

Trivia![]
- In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the basketball court area is now accessible rather than being enclosed by fences.
- On a related note, the back of the basketball court (which was once accessible in Mario Kart 7) is now inaccessible.
