Yoshi Desert is the third track of the Star Cup in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. After over twenty years, this track makes a retro appearance in Mario Kart Tour as of the 2023 Yoshi Tour.

The track takes place on a desert with pyramids in the background as well as a Yoshi Sphinx. There are also oases here.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit[]

Yoshi Desertis a yellow hot desert track, which features a Yoshi Sphinx in the background and Samba music. Yoshi Desert is characterized by tough, 90 degree turns that curve around pits of quicksand. The holes are hard to avoid, and when a character gets sucked into one, a Piranha Plant eats them, making the driver lose time. Also, there are two oases. If a player drives near either one, he/she will fall and respawn.

Mario Kart Tour[]

After over 21 years, Yoshi Desert makes a reappearance in the Mario Kart series in Mario Kart Tour since the 2023 Yoshi Tour. It has received updated graphics, and just like many other returning GBA tracks in the game, has a slightly changed layout due to the game's driving physics. The oases can now be driven through as underwater sections, while the track also features falling pillars. The pits of quicksand are now less dangerous than before, and the Piranha Plant doesn't appear anymore.
